French, Italian, Australian, American, World-03, International Champion Xenos Joselito

Sire: Am. It. Ch. Gazon Say What You Mean

Dam: Misssissi Del Settebello

While holidaying in Italy, we had got to know some of the afghans, so when we heard that Misssissi of Settebello, a Gerome daughter, had been bred to Chevy, we thought it would be a good idea to bring one to Austrlia. Unfortunately we were too slow in selecting, and the puppy we wanted was chosen by Elsa and Roberto Bighi. I saw that puppy 2 years later when I was at the world show with Svinto (Ch. Kingsleah Blue Star), and decided then I still wanted him. The owners , breeders, and handlers agreed to let us have Ch. Xenos Joselito for a period of 12 months. We took JJ to America first, spent a month there and got him started with points for his American Championship. He did some nice winning in Australia for us, including Best In show at the Hound Club of Canberra, and Best In Show at the prestigious Sighthound Show in Sydney judged by Patricia Ide. Before returning to Italy, we took him to America for the 2002 National Specialty weekend in Chicago. What a success that was. He took Best In Show at the Chicago Specialty, and the next day, Best Of Winners at the National Specialty judged by Sandy Withington-Frei.

We are thrilled for his Italian connections that he became
Top Dog, All Breeds, all Systems, Italy - 2003

We were able to successfully breed Jay several times while he was here, and are over the moon with what we achieved.
