Karakush True Blue
Sire: Ch. Kelzarki
Blue Spruce
Dam: Khandhu Trapeze
Banjos pedigree alone
attracted us to him some of the greatest afghans from the 80s were there
a combination that was both unique, and highly successful. He came from a litter
which produced 4 champions, 3 of them Specialty Best-In-Show Winners (Karakush Champions
Irresistable U, What A Rascal, and Playing To Win).
Little wonder that he has turned out
to be the great producer he is ! He has produced in excess of 40 individual champions,
many of them dual or multiple champions, many more major specialty and All Breeds winners.
To mention a few Ch. Kjavu Air Jordan, Ch. Kjavu Hunky Dory, American
and Aust. Ch. Tahkira Hell Raiser, Ch. Austaffar A Star Is Born, Ch.
Ibadan Ima Primadonna, Ch. Karakush Big City Blues, Ch. Quom
Jambalaya N Jazz, and our own Ch. Khandhu Didgeri Blue, Ch. Khandhu
After Midnight and Midnight Stripes.
He was also an extremely competitive
show dog - a Specialty Best-In-Show winner, and twice Specialty Runner Up to Best-In-Show.
He won numerous All-Breeds Best-In-Show, including the prestigious Sydney Spring Fair
the 2nd largest All-Breeds Show in the state.
We were so happy with what he produced, that we imported from Sweden, Ch. Kingleah Blue Star, "Svinto". Svinto's paternal grandfather was litter brother to Banjo's mother!
A grand old dog, who has proved his worth to us, and is a valued member of our house hold. Banjo was co-owned with his breeders, Gary and Helen Elmer, and lived his entire life with us until his untimely death just before the 2000 National Specialty in Sydney.
